In hope of some more squid action, we went to try and get some for live baiting. The water was calm and there was no wind at all. This is a huge help to the situation as it does not impede the squid action when jigging, allowing for a more natural appearance. In the space of about an hour, we were able to hook up on four of them, all of which we used for live bait. Unfortunately no hookups for the day. One bait took off about 20m sideways but was not able to hook on. Just as a tip, we hook the squid through the tail once, so as to allow for a natural swimming action while in the water.
